Filled (negative) circled letters
Inverted circled characters are the dark-bubble counterparts to hollow circled “bubble text.” Unicode defines these mainly for capitals; unsupported letters stay Latin. The Bubble Text Generator covers the hollow set.
Buttons, keys, and short labels
A few filled circles can look like keycaps. A sentence of them is nearly unreadable. Squared inverted text is the box-shaped cousin.

Negative circled letters are in Enclosed Alphanumeric Supplement. Older phones may box them. Keep strings short. Local only.

Why didn’t lowercase change?
Many inverted circled letters exist only for A–Z. Lowercase may be unmapped.
