Upload a square PNG to download a multi-size ICO for favicons. JPEG, WebP, and SVG sources are rasterized first. ICO is an old container of bitmaps—it is not a vector, and it will not magically sharpen a blurry 16×16.
What size to start from
Design at 256×256 or 512×512 with simple shapes. Hairline logos vanish at 16×16. PNG to JPG is the wrong path if you need alpha in the icon; keep PNG until the ICO step.
Platform notes
Windows, browsers, and some Linux desktops still want `.ico`. Apple touch icons are usually PNG. Conversion is local; we do not host your favicon.

Can I use a rectangular screenshot?
It will be fitted to a square canvas and may crop or letterbox. Start from a square asset.
